Brazoria County Septic Service COVID19 Statement to Employees
The Coronavirus pandemic has the potential for impact on all day to day business operations for organizations across the United States and globally. The more prepared BCSS is, the higher the probability we can maintain uninterrupted service to all customers and full time employment for all current employees.
Brazoria County Septic Service is considered an essential business service under CISA guidelines on Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce (https://www.cisa.gov/publication/guidance-essential-critical-infrastructure-workforce#download), subsection Public Works and Infrastructure Support Services for provision of “Support to ensure the effective removal, storage, and disposal of residential and commercial solid waste and hazardous waste, including landfill operations.”
Employees of BCSS are considered essential employees to critical infrastructure industry, and are therefore exempted from local restrictions including stay at home orders/shelter in place orders, curfews, etc. It will be expected that all employees be able to provide documentation of exemption to officers who may pull you over. Be sure to always keep on hand your exemption letter as provided by management.
